I had a wonderful experience during my recent stay at the hotel. This time, i attended a festive christmas party, and the atmosphere exceeded my expectations with fine decorations and fantastic service from the staff. The room was beautifully appointed with a lovely balcony view

hot water took too long to reach

Very clean room, loved the pool access, but parking directions were confusing.

Nice outdoor pool area with plenty of lounge chairs. The service at the restaurant was slow, and the food took a long time to arrive.

Comfortable room, friendly staff, with a great outdoor swimming pool that provided a perfect space to relax with family and a free shuttle service to the beach that made exploring effortless.

The staff was exceptionally kind, and the private entrance to Legoland was a fantastic perk. The meals were delicious, especially the English muffins, which were a delightful start to the day. However, the room felt a bit dated, and some amenities could use an upgrade. While the shuttle service was convenient, it had limited hours, making it challenging at times. Overall, a memorable experience with great hospitality.

We had an awesome time with the kids enjoying the heated pool and the easy access to legal land made the trip even better. After a long day, we loved unwinding in the spa lounge and soaking in the jacuzzi to relax. Just a heads up, the soundproofing could be better since we heard some neighbors talking late at night. 😊

The staff was super helpful, especially Candice and Paul. Our Traditional guest room had air conditioning, a balcony, and was wheelchair accessible. The outdoor swimming pool was relaxing, and the spa offered great features like hot tub/Jacuzzi and massage services. Loved the quick valet service and the easy access to LegoLand nearby.

Family-friendly but pricey experience

Had a blast with my family, especially when we got an upgrade to a beautiful room with a balcony. The private entrance to Legoland made it an lovely trip for the kids.

It was not inexpensive, but considering the experience, it was still reasonable.

I thoroughly enjoyed the immaculate decoration throughout the grounds. The lovely outdoor seating with fire tables created a welcoming atmosphere, and the heated pools made it easy for us seniors to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather.

I had the best time during my two-night stay in the Traditional Guest room, and the balcony view was just fabulous! The outdoor fire pits were perfect for cozy evenings, creating a magical atmosphere. Plus, being a stone's throw away from LegoLand? Talk about convenience for family fun!

I had a lovely stay at the Westin in Carlsbad. The views from my room in the Grandview building were stunning, looking out towards the coast. The room itself was spacious and beautifully decorated, offering a comfortable king bed and an impressive bathroom. The staff here truly made a difference. everyone was friendly and attentive. I particularly appreciated Patty at the coffee shop, who went out of her way to provide me with tea when I wasn’t feeling well. On the other hand, I did encounter some issues. The air conditioning in my room didn’t work well initially, and it took multiple calls to get it sorted out. Housekeeping could have been better. the sheets weren’t changed, and I found some cleaning cloths left behind. The noise from the adjoining room and the hallway was quite bothersome, especially at night. It felt a bit like a party hotel, so noise insulation could be improved. Overall, the positives outweighed the negatives, making it a place I'd recommend.
